SaySo ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and your choices.
Voice Data
When you use the voice-to-task feature, your audio is sent to the Google Gemini API for real-time speech processing and task extraction. Audio is streamed for processing and is not stored by SaySo. Google's use of the data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Account Data (Optional)
You can use SaySo without creating an account. If you choose to sign in for cloud sync, we collect:
- Email address — used for authentication
- User ID — a unique identifier for your account
Account data is stored securely via Supabase. You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings.
Task Data
Your tasks and lists are stored locally on your device by default. If you sign in, task data is synced to the cloud via Supabase so you can access it across devices. You can use the app entirely offline without signing in.
Web Content
When you share or import a URL into SaySo, the app fetches the webpage content and sends it to the Google Gemini API for step extraction. The URL and page content are processed in real time and are not stored by SaySo.
Tracking & Analytics
SaySo does not:
- Use the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA)
- Include any analytics or tracking SDKs
- Perform cross-app or cross-site tracking
- Sell, share, or rent your data to third parties
Data Retention
Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. If you use cloud sync, your data is retained in your account until you delete it or delete your account.
Children's Privacy
SaySo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
